Panku, who is originally from Romania, studied abroad through his early
teens. He and his family then emigrated to the U.S. where studied with
Harvey Wedeen at the Ester Boyer College of Music, Temple University in
Philadelphia, PA, where he received his Doctorate in Piano Performance.
His favorite composers for his performances are Beethoven, Schubert,
Brahms, Bach and Schumann. Mr. Panku often performs his own
compositions along with his standard repertoire.
