Great Pianist From Cuba

Jorge Bolet, 1914 -1990 was born in Cuba and studied at the Curtis Institute of Music, Philadelphia. He later succeeded Rudolf Serkin as Head of Piano at the Curtis Institute.

Jorge Bolet here plays 'Nocturne in F-sharp major, Op.15, No.2' by Frederic Chopin. Bolet who was consider by some as "a kind of latter-day Josef Lhévinne", did not become broadly well know until he
