Becoming a Paperless MusicianHugh Sung exemplifies a
new breed of 21st
Century musician. On the
one hand, he teaches at
the Curtis Institute, a
world class
conservatory, that is
steeped in 19th and 20th
century musical
traditions. On the other
hand, he is pushing the
envelope of 21st century
technology as hard as he
can with his work at
Airturn and as a
paperless classical
musician.An Exponential Boost In Efficiency
Hugh professes that the
modern day musician can
improve their playing
exponentially by hopping
on the wave of available

technologies. In this
workshop, presented at the
end of March 2009, at the
College of Music - The
University of Colorado, he
demonstrates how he uses the
many developing
technological tools in his
work as a performing concert
and collaborative pianist, a
pedagogue and an
administrator. |
